Easy Guacamole

. Whether you're scooping it onto tacos, spreading it on toast, or just going straight from bowl to chip, this version keeps it simple, fresh, and packed with flavor. The real secret? Perfectly ripe avocados and the brightness of fresh lime juice to tie it all together.

This is the kind of recipe that doesn’t need fancy tools, just a big bowl and a good appetite. If you like your guacamole chunky, leave it rustic. If you like it smooth and spoonable, go in with a fork or masher. If you have one; a Molcajetes is my favorite way to go. Either way, once you make it yourself, store-bought will never hit the same.

  5. Taste and adjust salt or lime juice as needed.

  6. Serve immediately or squeeze some lime juice on top and press plastic wrap directly onto the surface and refrigerate for up to 24 hours.

Pro Tips

  • Want extra flavor? Add a pinch of cumin or smoked paprika.

  • For a smoother blend, mash the avocados first before adding the rest.

  • Try to use fresh lime if possible.

    • Have extra avocado left over? Squeeze lime juice on top to prevent browning. ACV works in a pinch too.
